Hello everyone, happy Monday!
I’ve been trying new, different things since I have started my journey to a healthier me. This green juice, which I like to call Green Goodness is so delicious and easy to make.
No, I have not gone on a full blown green juice diet but I have been replacing my breakfast with this juice. The benefits of juice give me a great start to my morning and it tastes great.
Yes! It actually tastes great. Here is the recipe that I used this morning…
- Handful of spring mix greens
- Handful of strawberries
- (1) Banana
- (1) Cup of Water
From my recipe you can can see that I just basically eyeball the ingredients, haha. But you can measure them out if you want. I just go with the flow when making these delicious green juices because they taste great every time I make them and that’s all that really matters, right?
You can mix and match any kind of fruits and veggies with these juices to your liking.

I like to put my juices in mason jars after I make them and pop them in the fridge until nice and chill. Here’s what it looks like

I hope that everyone had a great, fun filled weekend. Even if that means that you did absolutely nothing but relax. Now that the weekend is over, for most adults, it means that it’s time to start the busy work week.
As I stroll on my social media this morning, I notice that a lot of my virtual friends are making post similar to this…
Which got me to thinking. Why does everyone hate Monday? Why is this day dreaded most by people? Well, I’m here to tell you to STOP DREADING MONDAYS!!! Yep, you read right!
In my opinion, Mondays bring so much to the start of the week. I look at it as an time to start fresh or to start a project that you always wanted to. Maybe start reading that book that has been collecting dust on your coffee table or start going to the gym.
For me, Mondays bring new opportunities for the rest of the week. It also has the opportunity to bring new blessings and new adventures. I think that with starting the week off with a positive mindset that positivity will follow you throughout the week.
So instead of waking up on a Monday dreading the week to come, wake up and say, “Oh hey Monday, I’ve been waiting for you!”

Hello everyone!! My name is LaToya but you all can call me Toya :). This is my first blog every but I have had a passion for writing since I was a little girl. Okay, so a little about me…I am 27 years young (haha), I am married to my wonderful husband of five years and we have a handsome little boy who is turning one at the end of the month. I can not believe that we are about to have a one year old. You would think that I have everything planned for his birthday already, right? But…I don’t, I cant decide what will be perfect enough for our little guy, but more about that later. So yea, as I was saying, I love to write, read, and take pictures. Today I went to the library (I know the library!) and got a few books and have started reading a book by the name of “The Neighbor” by Lisa Gardner. So far so good. I will definitely keep you guys updated with that. With this blog I want to share my life with you guys ( such as my family, being a first time Mom, being young and married, etc) and the little successes and fails that come with my life.
